I grabbed the gloss/matt finish and the front sides glide while the backs stay grippy, which is exactly what I wanted. Corners haven't frayed at all after a few weeks of weekly game nights.

These shuffle like butter right out of the pack, way smoother than the cheap sleeves I used before. The gloss/matt combo gives me a clean snap when I flick them and they've held up after a few game nights.

The gloss/matt finish on these is exactly what I wanted, slick on the front with a grippier back so my foils don't slide around mid-shuffle. They've held up through a few dozen games without any splitting at the seams.
