This expansion features a double-sided game board of Australia and Canada:

In Australia, new Long Distance hexes are available to connect far away cities which provide massive bonuses. The rugged terrain reduces your build capacity even further!

In Canada, multiple clusters of cities await your connections. Toronto provides a bonus for all railroad companies connecting there.

Both maps feature new ways in which the 6 railroad companies are introduced in the game!

Ride the Rails is required to play!

Evelyn ★★★★★

I grabbed this mainly for the Australia side and those Long Distance hexes completely change how you plan your routes — suddenly connecting far-off cities is worth the detour. The double-sided board means two totally different puzzles in one box, which is way better value than I expected.

Adam ★★★★★

Canada's map is way tighter than the base game, so every route decision actually matters. Those Long Distance bonuses in Australia had our whole table arguing over who'd grab them first.

The Australia board's Long Distance hexes totally change how you plan routes — suddenly those far-off cities are worth racing for. Played it twice back to back and both games came down to the final turn.
